No, cancel and keep using your current phone. To be honest, just upgrade to a Desire, you wont regret it!

The thing is I have stopped using all the amazong functions of my current phone, all i really use my google phone for is check cinema listings online, google maps to locate places, make phonecalls, txt people and the occasional photograph or video when im out and about.

Other than that i dont really use the phone and its very rare that i play any of the games available, i download various extras but rarely if ever use them, so i dunno it seems a little silly to upgrade to the htc desire phone when i dont really need it.

Well i got a short time to decide what to do so i will see.

I want another PS3, Mainly due to Heavy Rain played the demo today and it is amazing probably the most unique and greatest game I have played.
I honestly think I may get another one.

lol, high acclaim indeed.

I have in fact now confirmed my new phone and ps3. In the end i decided to get the samsung rocco lite i think its called, its a nice dinky little phone and has all the features i want, camera, video, editing, txts, phone, google maps, and internet for cinema if i need it.

So im happy and its got the perfect amount of minutes free. Not too expensive. Now i just relaised i have no games to play on it i should have bought a game on amazon ready to arrive tomorrow... oh well.

What game shall i get though that is the question, naturally ill pickup little big planet, but what else shall i get...?

To me that sounds like regression. There used to be books 'For this, got to page X, to do this, go to page Y' That was kinda like playing a book with great dialogue...

if its anything like farenheit it would be awesome, i have opted to pick up little big planet and final fantasy 13. And as soon as the weekend is over ill probably pickup heavy rain, uncharted 2 and a tennis game. But god of war 3, dantes inferno and some others ar eon my wish list.

Give yourself about 20 hours with FF13 before passing judgement - when it gets more open you'll like it; just go through the 10-15 or so hours of linear gameplay/story first.

I love the game, but most critics have played it for 5-10 hours and didn't get past the linear start. The first few hours are split between cut scenes and linear gameplay. It takes til at least the tail-end of the second disk to get past it, that's all. The game itself is meant to be 50-70 hours, but I bet you could speed run it in 15, skipping cutscenes. I've not finished it yet, but I reckon it'll take me 35-40 for the main story, then I'll go back and spend another 15-30 on the sidequests.

The problem is, that 20 hours is VERY BORING.

I know a lot of people are saying that it gets good AT 20 hours but why is that the case?
It seems like a giant piss take to me that you have to work through 20 hours of crap to get to the decent part.

It's like saying here's an iron, shove it on your hand, it'll hurt until it burns through all your nerves but after that you wont feel it so it's fine.

There are many many gamers out there who wont want to play 20 hours for a game to get good and that is the main problem IMO with FFXIII.

He has a very good point. Look at my Xfire, the amount of games that don't make it past 10 hours for me is quite long. If I don't like it after a few hours, why would I keep playing? Seems poor game design to me...
