Cool. Is that from a shop or online? In other words, do you have it already?

Let me know how you get on Curfish, I might be tempted to do the same.

guess whose HTC Desire turned up this morning unexpected? that's right it's here and it's lovely.

trying to get it to connect to the wifi here before going mental on the app downloads. doubt it's the phone having probs with my wireless, more likely the goddam router. have to reset it every time we use it

Question: there's a lot of info around on which handset is good or not, but what sort of tariff plan do you guys go for with these smartphones.
I get the impression a lot of you buy the phone outright and then get a network connection. Is that just so you have flexibility in which network you're connected to, or just so you're not tied to a 24 month contract with anyone, or does it just work out cheaper in the long run?

Just asking as the wife's old style nokia is on its last legs and I'm looking for a cheap way to get her a smart phone without spending 30 a month for eternity. (Her old deal was pay-as-you-go and she would only rack up around a tenner a month.)

I think I'm possibly the only one that bought one not on a contract and that cost me 415. I think to get a free Desire or Legend you'll be looking at around 30 a month contract. For a 15 a month plan, maybe you'll pay 200 for a top of the range smartphone?

I paid 335 and unlocked it for 20, i just used my current sim which is 18 month 600mins unlimited text and date for 25.

think the best deal is the tmobile one which can be found art

http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/...spx#tabsAnchor

18 months - 300 mins, unlimited txts, - 25 a month and the phones free. but apprently all android device get unlimited internet by default on tmobile

I am considering buying this as the mobile i got with my new contract sucks balls, and i think i am truly in love with android. still i do like having a keypad so im just not sure if i want to fork out 300 odd for a phone without a kaypad still one would get used to it i guess.

I used to think I would miss a physical keyboard, now I use Swype and couldn't be without it instead!
