Cool HTC Desire

I have to say, if you're looking for an Android device, you might want to just wait and get this -

http://www.desirehtc.com/

Don't get me wrong, I love my Nexus One and I probably wouldn't swap it for a Desire if offered, I don't think it has as much RAM for starters, but it certainly looks a nice device.

I will be happy when a Sense UI is available for a 2.1 device with this size screen as I am a bit of a fan of the HTC made interface. It wont take long before someone makes a ROM for the N1 that has the Sense UI interface.

The only other thing I would possibly be a little jealous of is actual hard buttons. I would prefer that over the 'soft buttons' on the bottom of the N1.

**EDIT** Okay, this was originally called the HTC Bravo by the way... maybe I should have used the same thread

Hi McBain and chuckwood. Gotta say after having a good poke around the internet and seeing the Nexus in the flesh I'm keen on mustard on the HTC Desire or Nexus.

Seems everyone is going to have them come April so might even get a reasonable upgrade deal . . . maybe

Wow! I wonder what happened?!?!

If you got a pre-order in when it was at 429, do they have to honour it? I think probably not...

I see the Legend is still at 399.

Saw this the other day but figure I'll wait to see it in the shops and what O2 will have to offer.

i checked my mobile contract and it ends around june by the looks of it, so i may hope that this will be available on contract by then. We will see. I dont really plan on buying a phone though. Although this one does look nice.

Keen as mustard and can't wait for it to hit the high st. Bit of healthy competition might reduce the price a little . . . doubt it though, going to be a hit I think.

It will be intersting, with this having a 'proper' UK release. It may well blow the Nexus One sales out of the water. Fine by me, the stronger Android gets, the better

I find it a little weird you root for a OS Personally I don't have that sot of loyalty to a product. Just cheaper phones would be better.

Go Team Android. maybe they should have sponsored cars @ F1 a apple, MS and android one. It might make the most boring sport in the world slightly more interesting.

The only reason I would even consider getting an iPhone would be because of the apps. As Android grows stronger, when someone makes an app they will think about Android first
