Arrow 2014 NFL Off Season

Was surprised by the Eagles cutting Desean Jackson... rather pleased the Skins got to him first.

It could backfire, but I don't see it being another Haynesworth type deal. I've always like him, I like the quick, shifty, hard to get hold of players like him and Shady McCoy.

If RG3 has a better camp (well, just even having a camp is an improvement), we could have quite a scary offence.

Tracy Porter isn't a bad pickup either. If Dante Hall can manage another good season, and maybe we try our luck drafting a Safety again, our pass D should be better.

Did a little mock draft this afternoon

.

*unfortunately this doesn't allow you to trade so I had to work with what I got,I do think Rams will trade with Falcons, which they (Falcons) will then take Clowney with the 2nd overall pick in the meantime I have the Rams taking Mack who I believe could quiet possibly be the best defensive player on the board*

Anyway try it out for yourself

The good thing about this draft is that its quite loaded at the db position.

Wasn't Dante Hall the punt returner from KC a few years back? Are you talking about DeAngelo Hall?

Rams need all the help they can get in the secondary, rest of our D is good, but our secondary is hmmm.. I think Questionable is a good word. The NFL.com mock draft at the moment has us taking Clowney at 2 and Donald at 14. They obviously think we need to improve our D line.

Little concerned that the Seahawks lost some good players, but they have been telling the fans that we should trust the system. Hopefully we can have a good run this year.

considering their recent draft history (Sherman in the 5th of the 2011 draft,Wilson in the 3rd and Wagner in the 2nd of the 2012 draft)fans should listen to them.

Or you have a head coach who loves drafting D-linemen...

Picks I loved
Rams: Aaron Donald- I honestly loved this pick more so than their first pick, its gonna be fun watching Collin and Russell run for their lives, this D line is sick.
Raiders Khalil Mack : possibly (imo) the best defensive player in the draft
Cowboys-Zack Martin : It was great seeing Cowboys fans go into dead silence when the pick was announced and it wasn't Johnny Manziel, seemed like Jerry used his head for once.

picks I didnt like
Lions Eric Ebron : given how much depth at TE there is in the draft, I thought they could have drafted a need first (secondary) and taken another TE later.
Panthers: Kelvin Benjamin seems a bit of a reach for a guy who had 1 good year in college
Browns: trading down a few spots then trading back up 1 spot to draft Justin Gilbert.
Niners: Jimmy Ward a lot of scouts had a mid 2nd/3rd round grade on him
Eagles: Marcus Smith same story as the Niners, I think they could have waited and taken another defensive player or a WR.

Really looking forward to round 2, for whatever reason it seems like a lot of talent has dropped. For me the biggest question is what do the Texans do at round 2 do they possibly draft a QB or go BPA ( DT Stephon Tuitt ?) and wait till the later rounds and take a QB (Tom Savage?).If Texans don't draft a QB with their next pick (possibly Derek Carr) then I see Carr falling to the Raiders with their next pick.
