There's a problem with FUEL in that pack, Steam forgot to buy keys.

Shattered Horizon is also on offer, and it's a free trial this weekend - just given it a go and found it just too chaotic.
Neat 3d environment, but just aimless.
There doesn't seem to be any particular objective aside form shooting people - there isn't even a control to open doors (that I can find anyway).

I got Supcom2 when it first came out at full price :/
Nice game, but they have made it a bit more cartoony and simplified the game since the first one as they claimed it was too much of a learning curve and people just didn't understand the game and resource management...

The multi player is fun, and i one a rather good game when i thought i was sure to loose but the enemy underestimated us and allowed me to get to experimental s Witch i may say kick ass in this one.

The campaign is good, and if RTS is your kind of game i recommend taking up the 50% sale while you can.

i took it up for the sake of it, i wasnt overly impressed with the demo, but for 12 i thought what the hell might as well add it to my collection.

Incase anyone has not noticed. And by looking at steam it is running untill 4th July.

over 300 games at upto 80% off.
Bundles upto 66% off.

I managed to pick up the THQ pack at 50% off
and grabbed Ghostbusters at 80% off at only 4

Hurry! Steam has been up and down for me today due to the high volumne of sales/downloads on all these items.

Also remember there are daily special offers, so there are several packs that are on a set discount until july 4th, but on top of that there are about 8-10 random mega discounted games on offer for one day only during this period.

For me i have to many games to consider buying any of the multipacks.

Also a word of warning about the multipacks, unless it says "already own one of these games, then give the extra ones to your friends" you cant.
So unl;ess it says that on the package offer screen you wont be able to give duplicate games to your friends. Be carefull with that.

That being said some of the offers may still be worth it. For me though im focusing on the 1 day only special offers. Today i picked up the strategy game Galcon Fusion for less than 1.75 well worth it.

Ghostbusters is just 3 and original AVP is just 75p ... Im not that into ghostbusters but at that price its tempting.

Remember the offers update at around 6pm GMT so if you want any of the games on todays special offer get in their before 6pm.

I plumped for Ghostbusters at 3. I may never play it, but it's a cheap gamble....

Be sure to let us know of any great 1 day only deals.

Picked up the THQ pack for 27. It has Saint's Row 2, which is a fecking awesome game if you've not played it but like GTA type sandbox games (I played it on the 360). Also DoW 1 and 2, and Titan Quest + expansions, and Company of Heroes, Red Faction.

Wow, some good games on the Today Only -

City of Heroes: Architect Edition - 5
CoH Complete Pack - 15
Supreme Commander 2 - 8.50
Left 4 Dead 2 - 6.80
Star Wars Force Unleashed -5

Sup Com 2 is the most recent, right? This is the one people might play at the next LAN? I might pick that up then.
